MBL in 2022 and plans for 2023
29-01-2023Become familiar with the latest updates on MBL’s performance in 2022 and our plans for 2023
Yet another year has passed, and it is therefore time to make a short status of the past year and look a little at the year ahead.
WHAT DID WE ACHIEVE IN 2022?
2022 was a year of continued recovery after Covid with a turnover of 89 M EUR equal to a 27% increase versus 2021.
This provides a good platform for optimizations and growth of our business in continuously challenging times of geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain disruptions and inflationary pressures.
Most of our valued customers have stated that they have experienced an improvement in delivery performance and that they are satisfied with the overall quality level as well as the supportive service provided by our employees. As a result, many customers wish to expand their business with MBL in 2023.
Due to the continuous cost challenges, however, our focus will also be on optimizations across the supply chain in close cooperation with our business partners.
WHAT DO WE PLAN TO ACHIEVE IN 2023?
Our plan is to reach the milestone of becoming a 100 M EUR business in 2023.
We will intensify our efforts to develop and promote MBL core business wheelchair components including the Omobic line for active wheelchair users.
We put a special focus on front wheels, rear wheels, ergonomic pushrims, QR-axles, QR-bushings and hand brakes.
We will also further develop and expand the power wheelchair components and tilt and lift systems business in MBL Poland and MBL China as well as focus on usage of lighter materials such as magnesium and carbon fiber.
We plan to employ more sales, marketing and R&D staff and we will continuously work on improving the organizational competences and skills through investments in education and training. Product and production trainings will be a key part of the 2023 development program and we will continue our focus on being a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to grow.
Investments are planned in key machinery such as a continuous upgrade of our CNC machine park in MBL Poland and MBL China including high end 5 axis machinery for carbon fiber products in MBL Poland.
We also plan to expand our quality measuring equipment capabilities in MBL Poland and MBL China.
To keep our business partners up to date on MBL’s development and performance we will continue to release monthly newsletters.
We thank you all for your cooperation in 2022 and we are looking forward to continuing and expanding our own and your businesses in 2023.
Let us grow stronger together!
Happy New Year!
