MBLCN POWER Walk
Walk with the wind, march as one! MBL’s themed walking event MBLCN Power Walk kicks off in a warm atmosphere. We are honoured to invite wheelchair users from Xiamen Disabled Persons’ Federation to join us. Side by side, we set off for an outdoor journey brimming with energy and warmth.
1. Opening Ceremony & Dynamic Warm-Up
Opening Address by General Manager: Jan, General Manager of MBL, delivered a speech, encouraging everyone to step away from busy routines, enjoy the activity and embrace the joy of sports. Fun Warm-Up & Stretching: A lighthearted warm-up session followed. Everyone joined playful activities including the “riding a motorbike” and “slicing noodles” stretches, plus mutual massage, filling the scene with laughter. Group Photos: Teams took separate group photos before a full-group shot was taken to freeze this wonderful gathering. Wheelchair user guests from Xiamen Disabled Persons’ Federation were with us throughout.
2.Start Signal – The Walk Begins
Staff handed out mission sheets to each team. At the starting signal, the 5km power walk officially got underway!
3. 5km Power Walk · Checkpoint Challenges
Along the route, teams visited four checkpoints one after another. Points were earned by completing challenges and check-ins. The champion, first runner-up and second runner-up were decided by total points (the finishing order at the end line does not count towards rankings).

✅ Challenge 1: Mission Accomplished (Frisbee) Each team selected 6 target slogans. The team had a total of 12 throws, with members taking turns to toss the frisbee. Points were awarded for successful landings in the target zone, testing teamwork and accuracy.
✅ Challenge 2: Enterprise Journey of Growth All team members held the edges of a fabric mat to guide a small ball along the track, avoiding holes, travelling from “1988” to “2026”. Points were calculated based on completion time.
✅ Challenge 3: Table Curling Members took turns sliding curling pucks, aiming to land them inside the target rings. Judges recorded the number of throws for each team, and points were allocated accordingly, testing strategy and control.
✅ Challenge 4: Photo Check-In Task Checkpoint ①: Full-team photo featuring 5 distinct heart gestures. Checkpoint ②: Creative full-team photo with fun, quirky poses. Points were granted upon valid submission of photos.
Ranking Rules Recap: A checkpoint can only be started once every team member arrives. Points are available from all challenges and photo tasks. Final rankings are based on the sum of all points.
4.Result Announcement, Awards & Sharing
Score Release & Award Ceremony: Scores were tallied and announced on site. GM Jan presented awards to the top three teams. The champion team celebrated with champagne; flying foam and cheers lifted the atmosphere to a peak! Guest Speech: Mr. Liu, a member of Xiamen Disabled Persons’ Federation and wheelchair user representative, took the floor. He recalled his chance encounter with Mariusz on Huandao Road and spoke of Mariusz’s ongoing care for wheelchair users’ real-life experience. He expressed gratitude to MBL for its consistent support for members of the Disabled Persons’ Federation, praising MBL as a caring and kind-hearted company. His sincere words touched everyone present.
5. Camp Barbecue & Joyful Dinner
As dusk fell, the camp barbecue dinner began. Amid rising smoke and tempting aromas, everyone sat together, letting go of fatigue from the walk, chatting freely and savouring food. Warmth and joy continued amid cheerful conversation.
Every step radiates vitality; togetherness warms every heart. Walk towards wellness, stand united with MBL. At this power walk event, we gathered through footsteps and bonded through collaboration. We gained joy from sports and passed on warmth through companionship. Moving forward, MBL will keep its passion alive and keep walking onward!
