In 1988, Ingelise and Mogens Lauritsen laid the foundation for MBL as a family-owned company in Denmark. Today, MBL stands as a leading supplier of standard products and customer-specified solutions for the rehabilitation and aged care industries.
Together, we are 1,500 experienced and skillful people operating in Denmark, Poland, China, and the United States — driven by a mutual can-do attitude, a keen respect for people, and the ambition to be a defining part of your movement.
The MBL Group
The MBL Group is an international group of companies based in Silkeborg, Denmark and with subsidiaries in Poland, China, and the United States.
MBL Poland is based in the city of Piotrków Trybunalski, southwest of Warsaw, and is our European manufacturing and distribution center. MBL China is situated in the southern city of Xiamen — an important industrial area. It is our manufacturing and distribution hub for Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Holding structure
MBL Denmark A/S is located in Silkeborg, Denmark, and serves as the parent company.
MBL A/S includes the subsidiaries MBL Poland and MBL Xiamen in China.
In 2020, Invalda, a large investment fund from Lithuania, invested in the MBL Group. The Lauritsen family remains the majority shareholder of MBL.
