Omobic Lock A3 – new strong wheel lock for active wheelchairs
Together with wheelchair user consultants, we developed Lock A3 — a new generation wheel lock for active wheelchairs. It is stronger, easier to operate, requires low maintenance, and collects less dirt from tires than traditional wheel locks.
We equipped the lock with an adjustable mounting plate, making it flexible and compatible with different wheelchair frames and individual user needs.

Lock A3 is an evolution of the well-known Omobic Lock A wheel lock, appreciated by many wheelchair users.

Benefits of using Omobic Lock A3 for wheelchair users
- Provides stronger locking performance than many traditional wheel locks. It does not need to press deeply into the tire to securely hold the wheelchair.

- Collects less dirt from tires thanks to the very small gap between moving parts.

“These brakes I have on my chair for half a year. (…) No maintenance. Over time with other brakes you have to adjust the screws on the brakes, because they get loose. And when they are loose, they stop working, so you have to tighten the screw. That’s not necessary here, because they don’t go loose in the same way as other brakes.”
